🚨 UK-Nigeria Partnership Delivers Landmark Healthcare Breakthrough with AMCE in West Africa We're proud to celebrate the grand opening of the African Medical Centre of Excellence (AMCE) in Abuja, a $250 million, state-of-the-art tertiary hospital led by African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) (Afreximbank) in partnership with King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. This 500-bed facility marks a transformative step forward in healthcare delivery across Nigeria and West Africa, and set to offer advanced care in oncology, haematology, cardiology, trauma, and emergency medicine. The UK in Nigeria and the UK's Department for Business and Trade (DBT) Department for Business and Trade have been instrumental in supporting this project, from early-stage market intelligence to strategic stakeholder engagement - reinforcing the strength of the UK and Nigeria partnership.
