What is a Life Year?

Over the last few years, the McKinsey Health Institute has introduced a series of reports
on healthy longevity measured in "Life Years", detailing how improvements in mental,
physical, social, and spiritual health could add up to 45 billion higher-quality Life Years
to humanity, generating $38 Trillion of value in the U.S. alone.

A Life Year (or Quality-Adjusted Life Year) is a globally recognized public health metric
adopted by 204 nations. It represents one additional year of healthy, high-quality life. The
World Cup of Healing's innovation is to, for the first time, scale and fund the generation
of Life Years through emotional healing and community-based care by leveraging the
universal reach of football.

The whole world speaks football.

So we translate maternal health into football
language.

Through the “Mothers of Football” stories campaign, we are using the social power of
football to build the first-ever library of holistic maternal wisdom.

This repository of the lived experiences of billions of mothers allows us to surface key
social needs and pain points during the perinatal period. Our revolutionary Coach AI
listens to these stories, learns, and then coaches family, friends, and the general
community around expecting mothers with personalized “plays” to improve their social
well-being.
